First I have to say that I did not try this toy out with a partner (as I am lacking one of those at the moment). So this toy was used solo during masturbation. After using this sex toy several times I have come to the conclusion that the design is superb for hitting the right spots, but is hard to maneuver for solo play because of the design.

The We-Vibe II arrived at my house in a beautiful package that contained the vibe, the AC adapter and instructions on how to charge the toy and also how the toy is to be used during intercourse. I’m not sure if it was Good Vibrations Sex Toys or the manufacturer’s goody bag, but also included were little sex toy magnets, an I heart We-Vibe pin, some lube and a condom. All of which can be put to good use. The We-Vibe also came with it’s own draw string pouch for storage, which is where mine is now. Needless to say, I was a very happy girl when I unpacked all my goodies.

Sadly I was not able to test out all the vibration speeds and patterns once I got the vibe out of the packing. If I remember correctly the vibe does need to be charged for at least 24 hours before use. This vibe is made of silicone and therefore is non-porous. The vibe is 3 1/4″ long by 1″ wide. It is really flexible and this is so when inserted one end (which rests nicely on your g-spot), the other end sits right on top of your clit. As you can see from the picture, the vibe naturally sits in a “C” position. There is a thinner width of silicone that holds each end together. This is the part that made it difficult for solo play.

I liked the idea of this being a “hands free” vibe, but for solo play, it didn’t really wow me. I will admit the vibrations were pretty strong and there were a decent amount of options when it comes to speed and patterns. While the g-spot end was nestled nicely, there was not enough pressure to get me off. Which makes sense as this is advertised as a couples vibe. Obviously during sex the penis would supply the pressure against the vibe and then against the g-spot. I had the same problem with the clit end of the vibe as well. Not enough pressure. So I kept trying to manipulate pressure by using my fingers. Finger against the g-spot end and my thumb against the clit end. Needless to say I got a cramp in my hand. And it became really hard to maneuver the vibe or add pressure once lube got on my fingers.

Overall I was disappointed with this vibe as a masturbation/solo vibe. It is mostly advertised as a couples vibe but it says that it can also be used for solo play. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for solo play. I do plan on playing with it more to figure out the best way to use it as a solo vibe and plan on doing a follow-up review if and when I get to use it with a partner.

Tuesday is my first day of classes for the fall semester. I’m kind of bummed. The summer always seems to go by way too fast. Yesterday was technically my last day off. We decided to spend it at the Renaissance Festival. It was a lot of fun but I am sad it’s over. I’m sad most of the things I enjoyed this summer are over. Having days off, going to Atlanta, and going to RenFest. There were a lot of good memories this summer and I hope I can make even more next summer.

As for classes starting back up, I’m not really looking forward to it. Too many options. And at this point I’m almost done with my Bachelor’s in English so I might as well stick to it rather than change my major now. It’s just frustrating.

Tomorrow I’m going to spend the day getting my class shit ready. Such as getting together all may books and cleaning out my backpack from last semester. I always hate the first day of classes. The icebreaker day. I find it a little annoying. It makes for an easy day, but an annoying one.

It feels like since I have gotten back from vacation I have been “go, go go!” I keep sitting down to get things done and then end up just listening to music or browsing online shops because I just want to relax. Saturday is my last official day off before school starts. After Saturday I will technically not have a “day off” until next summer. Why? Because I am crazy. Some days I am so bored and restless and wish I had something to do (which is why I am taking up jewelry making), and other days I just want to relax and just finally get a chance to lie in bed all day. I’ve been trying to get through all my photos that I have taken recently to post them on flickr. What I didn’t realize is that I haven’t posted a single photo I have taken this summer. So not only do I need to edit and organize my Atlanta photos, I need to go back and edit and organize all the photos I have taken this summer. So far I have finished with the old photos. I decided not to start on the Atlanta photos tonight because then I would feel the need to finish them and I would never get any sleep. I plan on working on some of them in the morning.

I also keep telling myself that I am going to blog more and I never seem to get around to that. Which is amazing considering how much time I spend online. I really need to spend at least 15 minutes to 30 minutes a day either working on blog entries or just fixing up my site. I really would like to convert my current layout into a more autumn themed one. That will be a huge project considering it’s been a long time since I have really fiddled with coding. I’m going to give it a shot though.

I am back from my glorious vacation. On Sunday the eighth, my mother, my best friend (and room-mate), and myself got in the car and set out for Atlanta, Georgia. We went through Ohio (boring), Kentucky (so beautiful) and Tennessee (scenic as well) and then made it to our destination in Georgia. We stayed at the Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel, which was amazing. The hotel staff was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. I would definitely stay there again. The only thing we did on the way down was view Cumberland falls, but otherwise we were trying to get to Atlanta as fast as possible. We took two days to get down (staying in a Hampton in over night), and on Monday just used our time to relax and walk around the hotel. On Tuesday we spent almost the entire day at the world’s largest aquarium, the Georgia Aquarium (I have so many photos and videos to go through). The next day we visited the Georgia Zoo (again, so many photos). Once we were done at the Zoo we decided to head for Five Little Points. The next day we visited Roswell, Georgia and did a tour of a plantation house. This was on Thursday (our last full day in Georgia), so once we were done there we spent the remainder of our time in the hotel just relaxing and talking about everything we had seen. On the way back home we did Clingman’s Dome (which was insane, but beautiful), where I briefly met and was able to get a photo of John Glenn.

Not only were all the attractions just wonderful, but so was the food. We ate out for almost every meal and I was no disappointed once. I have a few photos of the places we ate at because some of them were just awesome on the inside. Such as a pizzeria that had giant action figures hanging from the ceiling. Sadly, I don’t think I got any inside photos of the Goodfellows pizzeria (which was across the street from the hotel). We also ate at the Hard Rock Cafe, which was amazing.

Overall I had an amazing vacation. I wouldn’t have traded it for anything. It was awesome. And it was my first “real” vacation away from home. It was also the first time I have been out of the state. Technically I have been to Ohio, but just to cross the border for the Zoo (so it doesn’t really count).

At this point I just need to go through all my photos and videos. I had five memory cards on me that are all full, so I will probably need to wait until my day off to really go through them all. For now though, here’s a teaser.

I was pretty excited when I saw there was a bullet with a remote to review from Good Vibrations Sex Toys. I have never tried just a bullet or a vibe with a remote. Sadly, I was disappointed. Partly I feel that was my fault but I also would not recommend this toy to experienced users or those who need a strong vibration to get off.

Good Vibes coins the vibe as the Secret Buzz Remote Bullet Vibrator. The product is made by the company Love to Love and on their site is called the Cry Baby Limited Edition (or Secret Bullet Limited Edition). It is made of ABS plastic giving not only the bullet but also the remote a silky smooth feel. The remote comes with a dedicated on/off button and button for changing up the vibrations (on either side of the heart).

As you all know, the first thing I do when getting a new toy is take it out of the package, but batteries in and play with all the settings. I’m sad to say that the most enjoyable part of this toy, was the package it came in. It comes in a box with a magnetic flap to open it (which is always nice), and on the box itself it a dirty comic. (Please excuse the horrible lighting in the photo I took.)

I failed in my haste to get my hands on a remote vibe or bullet vibe, to look at the intensity level of the vibrations the product offers. It says that it has an intensity level of two and at times I might even go lower than that. While the bullet has plenty of variations (ten to be exact), none were strong enough to get the job done. When I first inserted the batteries that were supplied in the package the bullet started to vibrate, which I thought was odd since I hadn’t touched the remote. Last week there was an email in my university inbox stating that my financial aid award letter was zero. So, I kind of panic since obviously I am signed up for classes in fall and should be getting some sort of federal loan. The lady asks for my ID and tells me that the reason my award letter isn’t posted is because I never filled out my FAFSA form for 2010-2011. Jaw-drop. That day I did my FAFSA form and submitted it. I can’t believe that I forgot to do it still. I always do my taxes the minute I can, normally in January and then I fill out the form. A few days ago someone from the financial aid office called me to let me know that my award letter was available. I just still cannot believe that I totally dropped the ball with filling out the form.

I guess I will just have to be thankful that everything panned out and to remember next year to submit the form right after doing my taxes.
