When I saw the opportunity to try out a silicone vibrator I jumped at the chance. I have several vibrators, mostly TPR material or plastic but I had heard wonderful things about 100% silicone toys and the Petite Couture Precious did not disappoint.
Usage:
Since this vibrator is silicone, unlike TPR material you do not need to worry about dirt and bacteria getting trapped in the material. 100% silicone is bleach-able and therefore can be 100% cleaned. The material is very smooth and has a somewhat rubbery like feel to it. It is not very squishy, but it pretty flexible. There is not a lot of texture to this sex toy. There is only a groove that flairs out towards the tip on either side. This provides a very smooth feeling when moving the vibrator in and out. For those who are not texture fans and really enjoy the smooth feeling, this vibrator would be perfect for them. There is also a very slight curve towards the tip which could be used for g-spot stimulation. This vibrator is 7 inches long with 5 inches being insert-able and a diameter of 1 and 3/8 inches. The battery compartment at the base is self-explanatory, easy to use and takes two triple A batteries. It comes with a easy control panel as well. One button turns the vibrator on and off and the other clicks through the vibration speeds. The first three vibrations are steady vibrations becoming more intense as you click through. The fourth vibration is my newest favorite which is the roller coaster or escalating vibration. The fifth is a pulsating vibration and both the sixth and seventh speeds are variations on that pulsation. Even on the most intense vibration speeds this vibrator is very quite. You could easily use this with the door closed and I doubt anyone is going to hear it. This vibrator is advertised as waterproof, but I had a little problem in that department. After washing it with mild soap and water and then drying it I would see bubbles seeping out from the base/control panel. Also when I opened the battery compartment it seemed like there was a little water inside. I would not necessarily recommend using this vibrator in the water since there seems to be a few flaws with the water tight seals.
Cleaning and Storage:
As I have stated before, this vibrator is silicone and therefore bleach-able. It can get the ultimate cleaning this way. I also keep my boxes and just store the vibe back in the box.
Summary:
Overall I was not disappointed with this vibrator. The only downfall is that it doesn’t seem to be as waterproof as it is advertised. The smooth feeling of the silicone makes for fantastic sensations and it comes with a nice variety of vibration speeds which are all intense. The material also makes the vibe just flexible enough without over doing it. For those that like the smooth feeling of vibrators and like to know that they can get their vibrator super-clean, this one is for you.
