What gift would you give the person you don’t like?

This is too perfect. Just the other day I was telling my room-mate that we got these beautiful orchids in the store last week. They are white, pink and purple. Just beautiful and I was thinking about buying one. When he came with me into the store to pick up some odds and ends he saw them and told me that he thinks it’s an old Taiwanese superstition that giving an orchid as a gift to someone is to bring bad luck upon them. So honestly, I would gift an orchid to a person I don’t like.

cannot wait until moving day

I cannot wait until moving day. For those of you who don’t know my room-mate, Mathew, my friend Lisa and I are packing up our belongings and moving into a wonderful house during the third week of May. It’s a four bedroom, three bathroom with an office, dishwasher, garden tub, patio…and just…awesomeness. I am so excited! I get the master bedroom and master bath with the garden tub! Yay!

In the meantime…elch, packing. So far my closet is done. Behold my Magic the Gathering card collection.

Starting Over

To be honest I have no idea what happened. I noticed last week that my comments weren’t working right and I thought it had to do with a comment plugin. However, even when I tried to disable all the plugins, the problem remained. So I shut down the computer with the intention of working on it the next day.

So the next day I try to load my page and I kept getting this error about too many redirects and no matter what I did I couldn’t see my page. And every time I tried to log into wordpress it would try to re-install it.

I contacted my host and she gave me some tips and ideas about what I could do it fix it. Ultimately though I could not recover my content. So I decided to start over. There are pros and cons regarding this. The biggest pro is that I get a do-over. I can re-write everything. The biggest con is that I have to re-write everything.

So please bear with me as I begin to start over.
