I pre-ordered two copies of Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer and they arrived today! So far, my mother is halfway through and I haven’t even started yet. I plan to start reading tonight before I go to bed. The last book is the only one I own. I need to get the other books soon. I can’t believe I’ve gone this long without owning them. I do love her sc-fi book Host as well.

Recently I was re-reading Holly Black’s series. I desperately need to go to the library but I’m avoiding it because I own them money. *laugh* Some overdue fees. And two women I cannot stand work there…but I can easily avoid them by sticking my head in a book.

Oh! A few months ago I entered a contest on Photographer’s Forum sponsored by Cannon. I received a letter in the mail a few days ago letting me know I was a finalist! I submitted three photographs. Two digital and one silver print. Of course, the photo I thought was my best didn’t make it and the photo I entered just to enter a still life was the one that made it. I believe I will find out if I won or not (there are four places) on the fifteenth or they send out the notifications on that date. So somewhere around that date I should be receiving a letter. Everyone cross their fingers!

New post! Yay! It’s what you’ve always wanted, right?

Had a huge coding issue (or what was thought to be a huge coding problem) with the comments, but ’tis fixed! My only issue is the blogroll. I wish there was a way to get rid of the bullet points, and the “blogroll” category that shows up. Hmmm. Any ideas? Either tonight or tomorrow I plan on revamping my pages. They are a little outdated.

As for right now I am going to play a little Pandemic 2. Go play it. It’s addicting. I recommend watching the tutorial on it before playing though.

I cannot believe that it has almost been a month since I last updated. Well, I lie. I can believe that. Nothing has really happened. Nothing really worth noting. Just the usual.

A few months ago we bought a new washer. It broke a couple weeks ago. Vati contacted some people to fix it since we have a warranty. Basically the people who are supposed to fix it are idiots. So. Vati,became tired of having to go to the laundry mat every other day and decided just to buy a used washer (that’s how bad these repair people are). So he buys a two hundred dollar used washer. We run one load of laundry and all is well. Run the second load and I’ll be damned, that washer broke too. So then we had two non-running washers. Vati called the repair people for the used washer and they replaced it with another used washer. Luckily the new-used washer is running fine. However, the new washer is still broken. Hopefully the dumbass repair people will be coming out Friday to finally fix it.

Work is still like work has always been. Same old, same old. I’m trying to become a senior tech, but that’s not going as well as I hoped.

I’m all signed up for fall semester and just waiting for books to become available. I’m actually looking forward to my last semester at community college. I cannot wait to have my associates degree.

I’ve taken up a new hobby. Not sure how long it will last though. Here’s my progress thus far.

I’m not quite sure what it will end up being. I plan on using the whole ball of yarn, so it will probably be a scarf.
